Elk Horn Incense Holder

This too is Montana Elk Horn. It is about 6 inches long 4 inches wide and about an inch and a quarter thick. I painted the ends white on this one but I will leave them natural aside from a little sanding to smooth it out or paint them or draw bear paws, wolf paws,, just ask.This one has 2 holes and the sticks stand straight up. I thought they were kinda neat and different when I was making these for my wife to use here at home! I can make them bigger or smaller if you wish. I am in the process of making some more so there is a variety.

He wasn't very big though. The horn is around 19 inches long from back to tip, about 9 inches or so wide sitting flat one the floor and about 3 inches across the button where I put my "mark" and the bear paw. It has holes for 3 players and come with a buckskin piece to hang it up on the wall or where ever you may want. Comes with 6 horse shoe pegs of course! 2 purple, 2 lime gold and 2 plain silver colored.! I did clear coat it. ALL hand made and finished.

I like the marks on it,,it is different. I have sanded it some and then clear coated it. Most of the original patina and coloration from laying in the woods is still on it. I have marked the 10 holes w/very light reddish orange cross shaped marks so it's still easy to count. This is what the little guys didn't get a chance to munch! It comes with 4 horseshoe nail pegs, 2 have red painted ends! It is quite rustic,, like the others,,even if you can't play crib,, it is a definite one of a kind piece of art!!! Or I think so,, a conversation starter!!!
